Security in Waithaka must go beyond crime prevention alone. True security includes safe neighborhoods, clean environments, proper lighting, reliable water access, and dignified living conditions. On residential and business security, I will work closely with local administrators, nyumba kumi structures, youth groups, and security agencies to strengthen community policing and rapid response systems in areas prone to insecurity. I will advocate for installation and maintenance of street lights along major roads, residential paths, and busy centers such as Kabiria, Dagoretti Corner, and Riruta routes to improve movement and business operations at night. On environmental security, my leadership will prioritize proper waste management, drainage systems, and environmental cleanliness. Many parts of Waithaka face challenges of garbage accumulation, blocked drainage, and pollution during rainy seasons. I will push for cleaner streets, organized garbage collection partnerships, tree planting initiatives, and environmental awareness programs to restore dignity and health within our communities. Water security is also a major priority. Many residents continue to face water shortages, inconsistent supply, and expensive water costs. I will advocate for improved water infrastructure, proper water distribution systems, and partnerships that ensure residents in all areas of Waithaka access clean, reliable, and affordable water for domestic and business use. My vision is to build a Waithaka Ward that is educated, empowered, secure, clean, and full of opportunity — a ward where every resident feels represented, protected, and inspired to succeed.

Waithaka has thousands of talented youth, hardworking women, skilled artisans, small traders, boda boda operators, and entrepreneurs who only need opportunities, support, and access to resources. Areas such as Kabiria, Riruta Satellite, and Dagoretti Corner are full of untapped business and innovation potential. My vision is to create an economically empowered ward through practical empowerment programs. I will champion youth skills training in entrepreneurship, digital jobs, agribusiness, creative economy, communication, and vocational skills. I also seek to establish empowerment forums that connect young people and women to funding opportunities, SACCOs, government grants, and business mentorship. For women groups and small traders operating around Waithaka shopping areas and markets, I will advocate for cleaner and more organized trading spaces, better market support systems, and programs that help small businesses grow sustainably. I also believe sports and talent are economic tools. Therefore, I will support youth tournaments, talent academies, and creative programs that keep young people productive while opening doors for careers and income generation.

Education remains the foundation of social and economic transformation. Many families across areas such as Ndurarua, Muthama, Kirigu, Kabiria, and the larger Dagoretti region continue to struggle with access to quality learning opportunities, school fees, digital exposure, and mentorship. My vision is to strengthen educational support systems from ECDE level to university level. I will champion increased bursary allocations and ensure fairness and transparency in bursary distribution so that children from vulnerable families are not locked out of school. I also seek to establish community digital learning and innovation centers near strategic areas such as Dagoretti Market and Kabiria to equip young people with digital skills, online work opportunities, and modern technological exposure. Beyond classrooms, I want to introduce mentorship and career guidance forums in schools and churches across Waithaka to help young people discover purpose, leadership, and direction in life. I also envision partnerships with professionals, universities, and organizations to support talent development in sports, arts, business, and innovation.
